April 30, 2025 – Deadline for most individuals to:
File your personal income tax return.
Pay any taxes owed to avoid interest charges.
June 15, 2025 (Observed: June 16, 2025, as June 15 falls on a Sunday) – Deadline to file your tax return if you or your spouse/common-law partner are self-employed.
Note: Payment deadline remains April 30, 2025, even if you're self-employed. Interest applies to late payments.
Stage 1 - Submit the "File My Taxes" request.
Each taxpayer must complete a separate form.
You can save your progress at any time and return later.
The last day to submit your documents to us in order to meet the April 30, 2025, tax deadline is April 25, 2025. For the June 15, 2025, self-employed filing deadline, the submission deadline is June 6, 2025.
Stage 2 - Confirm and Pay
After you submit your tax filing request, we’ll send you an estimated invoice.
You’ll have the option to "Accept" or "Decline" the estimate.
Stage 3: Preparation & Review
Once your payment is received, one of our tax specialists will begin reviewing your documents and preparing your return.
When your return is ready, we will contact you to review it together. You’ll then be able to sign electronically to finalize the process.
Please note: The average processing time is 2–3 business days, though it may take longer during peak tax season.
Stage 4: E-Filing & Completion
Once we receive your signed T183 form, your return will be e-filed. Your income tax package will be made available through your client portal.
If e-filing is not possible, we will send you a paper copy to submit to the CRA.

Sign in to My Business Account
Go to "Profile" (on top right)
Scroll down to "Authorized representatives" (on the right) then click "Manage"
Select "Confirm pending authorizations" button; Verify our business name "The Tax & Accounting Depot"
Select "Confirm"
